That’s why we created Groconut, a brand dedicated to providing you with research-backed information and the best quality horticultural-grade coconut water available. What makes our formula different is that our coconuts are harvested at a particular time and processed differently than conventional methods, to ensure that the natural hormones, amino acids and other phytonutrients stay intact, unlike other coconut waters which are processed for taste and convenience.

My husband, Josh, and I launched Groconut in early 2020. We have three young children and New Zealand is our home.

Together we have worked in the horticulture industry for nearly a decade. This was a constant reminder of the desperate need for plant growth promotants that were sustainable, non-toxic and effective. After finding out that we could tick all the boxes with such simple ingredients, we knew we had to dedicate ourselves to building a brand that consumers could trust.

We believe that we need more eco-friendly alternatives to synthetic chemical products, so a big part of our vision is to educate growers about how coconut water for plants is a step in the right direction for sustainable gardening, permaculture and a cleaner environment. That’s why it’s our mission is to make this simple and effective product easier to learn about, access and use.

Regardless of our humble beginnings, you may have noticed that our product has gained popularity through word of mouth on social media. Our ingredients undergo routine testing at local labs and organizations, and our customers are passionate about it because it does exactly what it promises it should.
